WWE Royal Rumble 2017: 10 Things That Must Happen

1. The Undertaker Wins The Royal Rumble

There's a very real chance that this could be The Undertaker's last Royal Rumble appearance, a scary thought for those who have followed his career from the very beginning. Since 2009, 'Taker hasn't entered the annual match that pins down the Rumble pay-per-view, making 2017 even more special.

Things could be more historic by writing Undertaker to walk away with the victory, ensuring he will play a pivotal role in the main event of WrestleMania 33. Should WWE (or, more accurately the legend himself) decide to call it a day by then, 'The Phenom' would have one hell of a match to sign off on.

If John Cena then becomes WWE Champion at Elimination Chamber, wheels can be set in motion for a 'Mania match many have wanted to see for years. Alternatively, what if Undertaker himself wins Elimination Chamber, keeping Cena agonisingly at bay in his quest to match Ric Flair's 16-time record?

Whichever way around WWE decide on, it could be The Undertaker's career against John Cena's journey to become 'The Man' at WrestleMania. That may be too big a prospect for WWE to pass up, and it'd start at the Rumble.
