If guys like John Cena are to appear in the 2017 Rumble, they'll likely be announced in advance. WWE have a lot of tickets to sell, and Cena's name would help in a big way.

Despite this, Cena would make for an ideal surprise entrant. He's been off television since failing in his attempt at equalling Ric Flair's record of 16 world titles at No Mercy, and doesn't look set to appear again anytime soon. Cena remains divisive, but his negative reactions have cooled-off since transitioning to a part-time role, and he'll likely get a warm reception if he shows-up unannounced.

If he does, Big Match John must be considered a huge favourite to add to his two previous Royal Rumble victories. Ric Flair's record might just be in danger...

Odds of Winning: Very favourable.
