WWE Royal Rumble 2020 Spoilers: 3 Surprise Returns Revealed?

Is WWE set to pull the trigger on these comebacks on Sunday night?

Get yourselves ready for some Cobra action, because it looks like WWE is bringing in Santino Marella for Royal Rumble 2020.

This is according to a new report from PWInsider. The site's Mike Johnson claims to have confirmed this with several sources within the company, so we can probably expect to see something from the two-time Intercontinental Champion on Sunday night - hopefully as Santino, not Santina.

Marella has a storied Royal Rumble history. 2009 saw him break The Warlord's quickest elimination record when Kane bundled him out after just 1.9 seconds, though a 2011 glory run had the world briefly believing he was going to win before Alberto Del Rio put him out to take the bout.

PWInsider is also reporting on two other potential returns, with Nia Jax and Ruby Riott set to be in Houston this weekend. This doesn't guarantee their participation in the Rumble, of course, but the duo has been sidelined since April and May 2019 respectively, with both showing signs of recovery lately. Riott was recently spotted training at the Performance Center while Jax's comeback was always speculated for sometime in Q1 2020, so it adds up.
