WWE's next major show, Royal Rumble 2022, takes place on Saturday, 29 January, and last night's episode of Raw brought several new additions to the card.

While no new participants were added to the titular women's bout, a fresh trio were put in the men's match. Technically, Damian Priest and AJ Styles were confirmed on Twitter prior to the broadcast, though both were hammered home on the show, during which it was confirmed that Big E will be in the Rumble.

Elsewhere, Seth Rollins' WWE Universal Championship challenge vs. Roman Reigns was officially confirmed, as was Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch vs. Doudrop. The challenger won a Triple Threat featuring Bianca Belair and Liv Morgan to earn that honour.
