WWE Royal Rumble 2022: Predicting All 17 Wrestlers Not Yet Announced

7. Gunther

The former WALTER's previous main roster work hasn't gone so well, with the Austrian knocked out of the men's Survivor Series 2019 elimination match after just three minutes. That grim night doesn't bode well for his long-term prospects, despite him recently moving from Europe to the United States where once he was reticent to do so, becoming an NXT 2.0 full-timer.

On a more positive note, WWE has at least dialled back on plans to name the big man after a literal Nazi, having abandoned the "Gunther Stark" trademark. Renaming him was a political move in the first place (WWE could never own Walter Hahn's real-life forename), mind, but at least the allusions are (mostly) gone.
