WWE Royal Rumble 2025: 10 Surprise Entrants We Could See
8. The Hardy Boys
Fans who were there live in attendance will still reminisce about Matt and Jeff's dual return at WrestleMania 33. That was one of 2017's best moments by a mile, and it led to a pretty satisfying go-around as a tag before both worked respective singles runs in the company. AEW wasn't quite as snappy for multiple reasons, but it's nice to see the brothers back doing their thing and having some fun in TNA.
Again, the ex-Impact's friendly working relationship with WWE means Triple H would be able to pull some strings and let his fanbase hear that glorious entrance theme all over again. You know the one. No YouTube link needed - you're already singing it in your head. That's the sign of a great track, one perfect for The Hardys over the decades. Hearing it ring out at the Rumble would be a real treat.
They'd be a two for one special in the match.
Obviously, this means some full-timers might have to miss out. Matt and Jeff could be snagging two separate entries in the 30-man match, which isn't ideal if you're somebody who works for WWE all year round. However, could Trips really get away with putting just Jeff in the bout, for example? Probably not. Everyone would be waiting for Matt to race out next.
One solution might be having Jeff enter officially whilst Matt comes out afterwards to hit some double team moves. That'd give longtime fans a thrill, and it'd fill the legends quota each Rumble seems to need without taking up two spots.
