WWE Royal Rumble 2025: Predicting Literally EVERYTHING

Mathematically, it isn't going to be Roman Reigns who wins this year, as it just doesn't make sense for him to fight Gunther, nor should he have a match against Cody Rhodes for the third year in a row. He's ruled out.

John Cena could very well win and challenge either man, but it's important to note that he's scheduled to compete at Elimination Chamber. That might mean he's going to win that match to earn himself a title opportunity, as it would be too easy for him to start off his farewell tour by immediately winning the Royal Rumble, making his Elimination Chamber appearance either entirely moot or just some random match against someone for the sake of it.

Even with ruling out those two, picking between Seth Rollins and CM Punk is very difficult, as it's hard to tell what direction WWE will go this year, considering 2024 was spent building up a match between Cody Rhodes and/or Roman Reigns against The Rock instead of whatever else we're getting.

With rumors it will be Cena vs. Rhodes and Gunther vs. Rollins, as well as the angle that Punk and Reigns have Paul Heyman between them, let's give an advantage to Rollins doing what he promised to do by spoiling Punk's victory to even the score between them after his loss on the Raw Netflix premiere.
