WWE Rushing Karrion Kross To Main Roster Spot

Time's a-ticking on the NXT tenure of former NXT Champion Karrion Kross.

When looking at current NXT talent who seem tailormade for the WWE main roster, one person who immediately jumps out is Karrion Kross. And now, it looks as if the former NXT Champion is about to be fast-tracked to either Raw or SmackDown.

As per Wrestling Observer Radio, the belief is that WWE officials are extremely keen to get Kross to the main roster sooner rather than later. In fact, WWE was keen to fast-track the Herald of Doomsday to the main roster even before he won the NXT Championship at last August’s TakeOver XXX special.

There’s no word at this time on whether Kross will land on Raw or SmackDown when he does leave NXT, but it certainly seems that it won’t be too long before this destructive force makes his black and gold brand departure.

After several weeks of teases, last night’s NXT show saw the Karrion Kross vs. Santos Escobar feud formally get going, but that wasn’t all for Kross – for he would also have a face-to-face confrontation with 11-time World Champion Edge.

Additionally, Randy Orton took to Twitter earlier in the week to challenge Kross to a match, to making some good money, and to having some beers with the Viper.

Of course, WWE traditionally moves a handful of NXT talent to the main roster in and around WrestleMania season – so time may well be ticking on Karrion Kross’ NXT tenure.
