WWE Set To Rock SmackDown With MAJOR Heel Turns
WWE creative has a series of heel turns planned that should shake SmackDown up.
WWE plans on turning three of SmackDown's top babyfaces heel by the end of the year.
Boozer Rasslin reports that Bianca Belair and the Street Profits (Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins) are all in line for villainous runs before 2023 expires. There is currently no word on how WWE will do this, however.
All three wrestlers were sent from Raw to SmackDown as part of WWE's 2023 Draft. Belair did so as the Raw Women's Champion, while SmackDown Women's Champion Rhea Ripley remains stationed on Monday nights. That Bianca and Rhea hold the opposite belts to their home brands has raised speculation about both titles' futures.
Belair is currently feuding with Asuka on Friday evenings, still playing babyface. The Street Profits, meanwhile, defeated LA Knight and Rick Boogs on last week's show. Dawkins, Ford, and Belair have been featured as a trio in WWE several times in the past, though there's no indication, so far, that this would be the case in the event of a heel turn.
Ford and Belair are a real-life couple, having wed in June 2018 following their engagement the previous year.
