WWE SmackDown Match Cancelled?

Hope you weren't looking forward to AJ Styles vs. Drew Gulak...

Match Cancelled
WWE

WWE appears to have quietly cancelled the AJ Styles vs. Drew Gulak Intercontinental Championship match that was scheduled for tonight's episode of SmackDown.

The match was made as an extension of Styles' wider programme with Daniel Bryan, who presented 'The Phenomenal One' with his belt one week after losing an enthralling match to close the title tournament. Gulak, a Bryan associate, had his opportunity announced last week, but the WWE.com link to the bout preview now navigates to an "access denied" page. Credit to Bleacher Report's Chris Mueller for pointing this out.

Per the show preview, tonight's SmackDown has been rebranded a "Tribute to the Undertaker," with the WrestleMania 36 Boneyard Match between 'The Deadman' and Styles set to be played in full, amongst other content. There is no mention of Gulak vs. Styles or the previously advertised "A Toast to Jeff Hardy" segment featuring Sheamus.

Tomorrow night's show was supposed to have been recorded at the Performance Center on Wednesday 17 June. This came after a one-day delay as proceedings were suspended following a positive test for the illness currently sweeping the planet, with a new Fightful report stating tonight's episode is now being taped today instead.
