WWE's annual Money in the Bank event is just a few short weeks away, and news coming out of this week's SmackDown tapings is that just a single spot in the coveted ladder match remains.

Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, Cesaro, Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho qualified on Monday Night RAW, and you can now add Alberto Del Rio to that list.

The Mexican Aristocrat qualified on the blue show by defeating poor old Zack Ryder via the cross arm-breaker. Del Rio's appearance in the match is no surprise, he is a past winner of the briefcase after all (back in 2011), and is exactly the sort of top tier talent that also happens to be treading water that seems to get put into these matches.

Will Del Rio grab the briefcase on June 19th? Most likely not. Of the six men currently involved in the match, you will most likely get the longest odds on El Patron becoming only the second two-time winner of the match.

What he will do is add experience however, as well as an overly-contrived and illogically lengthily set-up double stomp on the ladder.
