Tyler Breeze made his much-anticipated WWE debut at the SmackDown tapings on Tuesday evening in Austin, Texas. The show airs Thursday evening on the SyFy Network. Breeze had been rumored to be making his television debut for quite some time now. He wrestled full time over the weekend at WWE house show events, and he was backstage Monday night at RAW in Dallas. There were discussions about his debut possibly occurring during Monday's live RAW broadcast, but it was ultimately decided for Breeze to debut during an in-ring segment at SmackDown. With the storyline between Lana, Rusev, Dolph Ziggler, and Summer Rae abruptly ending due to news leaking out on Rusev and Lana's real-life engagement, Breeze has now been thrust into a storyline with Summer Rae and Dolph Ziggler. A MizTV segment took place during the SmackDown tapings with Summer Rae and Dolph as guests. WWE had hyped up this segment during RAW on Monday, showing clips of SmackDown last week when Dolph turned down an advance from Summer Rae when she pointed out to Dolph that the two of them should get together now that Lana and Rusev are getting married. In the segment on SmackDown that will air Thursday evening, Summer brought out NXT's Tyler Breeze while mentioning that she has now moved on from Dolph. Breeze cut a brief promo in the ring, attacked Dolph, and left the ring with Summer Rae at his side.
