Bruce Prichard has reportedly ruffled some feathers behind the scenes in WWE.

According to Ringside News, some of the promotion's writing staff and producers were less-than-thrilled when they heard Prichard's recent podcast interview with Sam Roberts. In fact, they viewed his comments on the pod as "an embarrassment", and think that Bruce should've tried to "rein himself in" before the chat went live online.

The site's WWE sources believed that Bruce came across as "arrogant, entitled, all-knowing" and almost painted himself out as someone who is "smarter than the audience" throughout his appearance. That obviously doesn't do much to build harmony or understanding between product and viewer, and there are very real worries that Prichard feels he can "dictate to the audience instead of listening" to them.

Bruce told Sam during the interview that some wrestling fans just don't like change. He was responding to questions about why episodes of Raw had been re-written last minute, and basically defended the company's right to change things.

That's fair, but Prichard's general delivery didn't sit well with the rest of WWE's writing team or some of the producers.
