WWE Star "Dying For" Match With Edge

This WWE star craves just one major singles match with Edge on TV or PPV.

Finn Bálor craves that elusive one-on-one match vs. Edge.

The Irishman told ITR that he's hopeful WWE will see enough value in it before ending Edge's revenge story with Judgment Day - Finn replaced the 'Rated-R Superstar' as leader of the faction when Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest turned on the legend this past June.

It'd be very surprising if Triple H's reworked creative team moved on from the feud without booking that singles bout between Bálor and Edge. That, after all, is pretty much the 'final boss' moment for Edge, and it really needs to happen.

Finn wants it badly. He's always fancied working with Edge generally.

He admitted he's "dying for" the chance to step between the ropes for a match with the icon. Bálor wasn't with WWE when Edge retired in 2011, but he really disappointed by the thought that he'd never get to wrestle one of the best.

Then, Edge surprisingly returned to action in 2020 and the dream came alive once more. Almost three full years on, it still hasn't happened. Surely, 2022 will be Finn's moment. WWE won't skip this match.
