WWE Star Big E Says Some Doctors Have Told Him Never To Wrestle Again
Big E talks his wrestling future, and other non-wrestling roles he has discussed with WWE.
Big E has been advised by doctors to never wrestle again.
While speaking at a SummerSlam press conference event, the former WWE Champion discussed his future as a performer, explaining what he'd been told by certain doctors and what other non-wrestling roles he could potentially explore with the company.
According to the New Day star (via F4WOnline), though his year check-up stuff "looked great", he also talked to spine specialists, with those doctors working on various individuals in WWE over the years and doing their neck fusions. And those doctors told Big E "I would not wrestle again if I were you."
E would then go on to tell Haus of Wrestling that while he doesn't know what his future holds, he simply wants to live a long, happy, pain-free life.
The popular WWE personality, who hasn't wrestled since fracturing his C1 and C6 vertebrae during a match on SmackDown in March 2022, did also note (via Sean Ross Sapp) how he's discussed a potential colour commentary role with the company.
He also reiterated in this pre-SummerSlam chat how there isn't currently a timeline for a potential return, despite his strength being "great" and just generally feeling great.
On top of doing SummerSlam media for WWE in Detroit, Big E has been helping out with WWE tryouts, too.
