WWE Star Returns On Raw With New Finisher

'The Irresistible Force' blasts back in dominant fashion.

Nia Jax mounted a dominant comeback on last night's WWE Raw, felling NXT's Deonna Purrazzo in quick, dominant fashion.

It was a relatively straightforward squash for 'The Irresistible Force.' Having been absent for close to a year, the announcers put over the colossal changes that had transpired in the women's division since Nia was injured, all while Jax laid waste to Purrazzo in the ring - putting her away with a cradle DDT finisher identical to Paige's old RamPaige finisher.

This wasn't a coincidence: the former 'Anti-Diva' has passed the move down to Jax:-

Nia is returning at an opportune time. Not only is WWE about to embark on a new season of programming after WrestleMania 36, but the Raw women's division is wide open at the moment, with Becky Lynch having seemingly cleared her division out - though a Shayna Baszler rematch could be on the cards. Opportunities will be plentiful for Jax, who looks set for a prominent role imminently.

Jax had been absent since just after WrestleMania 35, when she underwent major surgery for two torn ACLs. A return in this year's Royal Rumble had been rumoured but never came to pass.
