This WWE wrestler had no clue he was getting a new gimmick or new music.

Baron Corbin has told Ryan Satin's 'Out Of Character' show that Twitter knew about his change from 'King' to 'Happy' before he did.

Vince McMahon was "100%" behind the gimmick shift, but nobody actually told Corbin until he was set to assume the role. Baron told Satin that he rocked up for work one day and heard some new entrance music playing in the background - then, WWE staff told him that they should probably rehearse his walk down the ramp.

Corbin was totally confused, and was stunned when someone informed him that he was getting a new look and gimmick. He became 'Happy' overnight, but explained on the podcast that seeds had been planted for the switch months before; Baron has a great personal relationship with Vince, and remembered the boss saying that he'd be fun as an obnoxiously happy character.

BOOM! Happy Corbin was born in McMahon's brain.

Corbin spotted the name on Twitter before really knowing what it was all about though. He got a giggle out of the idea that some fans knew about 'Happy' before he did. That's just how the WWE machine works, apparently.
