WWE Star Says THIS Alter Ego "Has A Future"

Major WWE star could bring back a character fans haven't seen since 2019.

Finn Bálor's 'Demon' guise hasn't been seen since 2019's Super ShowDown pay-per-view in Saudi Arabia. There, he beat Andrade to retain the Intercontinental Title - Finn, for various reasons, shelved the 'Demon' character after that, but he told WWE Deutschland that a return could be on the cards soon.

Bálor said that his 'Demon' "definitely has a future" on SmackDown.

For now though, Finn says he's fully-focused on cementing his current 'Prince' gimmick on Friday nights. That persona reaped huge rewards on NXT, and Bálor fancies seeing how far he can take it in front of a bigger audience on FOX every week.

So, in other words, 'Demon' fans will see their painted-up antihero again. They'll just have to wait a while for it.

Of course, Bálor could be playing games with everyone here. WWE Deutschland is an official outlet for the company, so it makes sense to believe their questions are vetted (or at least tie-in with teases WWE wants to make). Could this just be Finn dropping hints to gauge interest in a 'Demonic' return?

Maybe. Or, maybe Bálor just danced round the question.
