Towering WWE star Omos has admitted that he thought company chiefs were "ribbing" him when they mentioned a possible match vs. Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 39.

Omos told Mail Sport that he wasn't certain if people were being serious when a mini-feud opposite someone the standing of Lesnar was brought up. In fact, by his own admission, the big man went "blank" and stopped listening to everything else that was being said.

Then, he came back into the room and asked: "Did you just say Brock Lesnar?". It took him a moment to realise that everybody was being super-serious - WWE management wanted to slot him in vs. Brock on the biggest weekend of the year.

It was a pressure spot, but Omos was determined to do Lesnar proud, and was really chuffed when he learned that Brock was happy with their match this past April. That meant a lot to the rookie, because the last thing he wanted to do was mess anything up (especially at 'Mania).

WWE higher-ups were also pleased with the bout. Omos is currently off TV after getting married, but is expected back imminently.
