WWE SummerSlam 2013 Roster: Where Are They Now?
3. Daniel Bryan
Then: "B+ Player" Daniel Bryan defied WWE's very-real expectations for him by breaking out to become one of the best babyface heroes in history. A stunning technician, Bryan also captured the hearts of WWE's core audience en route to beating John Cena at SummerSlam 2013.
Now: Bryan Danielson's pro wrestling legacy continues in AEW, but things could've been rather different. Injuries forced retirement in 2016, but he returned to rings in 2018. Bryan always loved the thought of working outside WWE again though, and he's been able to do that in All Elite.
Currently, he's part of the Blackpool Combat Club stable and still dazzles in-ring.
