Time to end this MONSTER of an experiment...

Pardon the language, but how the sh*te is it SummerSlam already?

2020 has been a weird, weird year, and August's supershow has snuck up out of nowhere like Randy Orton before the WWE Title challenger smashed Shawn Michaels with an RKO on the latest Raw. Big Randall is making quite the habit of thumping legends again, and that vindictive hero-bashing does make him a fine choice as Drew McIntyre's challenger.

WWE have a decision to make on Sunday. Do they make sweeping championship changes across the board and then promote rematches at Payback one week later (yes, one week later), or do they treat SummerSlam like it's a mid-90s In Your House and strangely put more focus on a pay-per-view that's generally considered inferior when the world isn't so...unpredictable?

At the very least, the fact WWE are moving out of the tired confines of their own Performance Center into Orlando's sizeable Amway Center offers some hope. They need to tag-team that change of scenery with proper good booking that shows they're paying attention and aren't just on autopilot through one of the biggest shows of 2020...
