WWE SummerSlam 2022: Another Top Match Revealed?

As teased on this week's Raw, WWE has another big match lined up for SummerSlam 2022.

If it wasn't already clear from this Monday's Raw (it was), WWE plans on booking Riddle vs. Seth Rollins for SummerSlam 2022.

Dave Meltzer reported as much on the latest Wrestling Observer Radio. Therefore, expect a formal announcement sometime between now and 30 July, when 'The Biggest Party of the Summer' hits Nashville, Tennessee's Nissan Stadium.

WWE's most recent premium live event, Money in the Bank 2022 (2 July), saw Riddle hit Rollins with an RKO from a ladder in the eponymous men's match, drawing a building-shaking pop. Then, after defeating Ezekiel on Raw two nights later, Rollins ate his second RKO in three days, with Riddle keeping injured partner Randy Orton's tradition going by appearing out of nowhere.

Three Raws remain between now and SummerSlam, giving WWE plenty of time to build additional heat between Rollins and Riddle. The duo's only televised singles match to date ended via no contest on 7 February 2022.

Here's how the SummerSlam card looked at the time of writing:-
