WWE Suspends R-Truth For Violating Wellness Policy

After reports over the weekend emerged that a Survivor Series main eventer had failed the company's Wellness Policy, WWE.com has announced that R-Truth will be suspended for thirty days. The official statement on the WWE website says;

"In accordance with the Talent Wellness Program, WWE has suspended Ron Killings (R-Truth) for 30 days effective immediately for his first violation of the company€™s policy."
If you watched Raw last night you probably knew this was coming. A strange angle finished the show where The Miz and R-Truth had a falling out, forcing The Miz to turn on Truth and laying him to the ground. It came across as hokey on the t.v. but I suppose it's served the purpose of writing R-Truth out of the storyline picture and allowing The Miz to move on to other things. We can probably expect now a build for John Cena vs. The Miz at the TLC PPV next month, which at least solves the problem of having three wrestlers involved in a program (as The Rock won't be back for a while yet) and not just doing a lame handicap match.
