WWE Tag Team Champion R-Truth Suffers Broken Foot

WWE changed their live event cards last week with Kofi Kingston being partnered with Zack Ryder and Brodus Clay respectively.

PWInsider.com reports that sources within the WWE have confirmed that one half of the WWE Tag Team Champions, R-Truth, has suffered a broken foot. Truth did not travel on the recent RAW brand tour of Spain last week and is not expected to compete for several weeks as he recovers from his injury. WWE changed their live event cards last week with Kofi Kingston being partnered with Zack Ryder and Brodus Clay respectively. No word yet on whether WWE plan to take the Tag Titles off Kingston & R-Truth given the latter's injury but it probably depends on how long his lay-off time is diagnosed to be. Previously the WWE kept the tag belts on Air Boom (Kofi Kingston and Evan Bourne) when the latter failed the WWE Wellness Policy last year and they were unable to defend their belts with the latter suspended for thirty days, so there's unlikely to be a desperate rush to take the belts off R-Truth and Kingston at this point. Gotta feel a little sorry for Kingston at this point as he can't get any momentum with the tag belts as his partners keep being sidelined.
