Impact Wrestling's Heath (Slater) has claimed that several WWE wrestlers have reached out to him about potentially joining the former 3MB man in his new home once they become free agents.

Speaking to TV Insider, Heath stated that while these performers have asked him about the Anthem-helmed promotion, "they know when they are locked down under contract, they can't get out. That's the bottom line. You may as well have signed yourself up for the military."

Heath went on. "Guys that did get released and guys from other companies have been texting and calling me, asking about Impact," he said. "Some of the WWE crew have been like 'that would be awesome to do this, but I've still got a year-and-a-half or another year.' I'm like, 'remember what you're saying because years go by pretty fast, so if you really want to, I might know a guy.'"

"The interest is there for sure," he concluded.

Former WWE wrestlers like Karl Anderson, Luke Gallows, Deonna Purrazzo, and Eric Young have joined Heath in jumping to Impact this year, with the promotion's online buzz improving considerably over the past few months. It's still a stretch to call it a true WWE or AEW competitor, however, given that the weekly show still only draws around 150,000 viewers.
