Both Mojo Rawley and Zack Ryder are teasing tension on social media following Ryder's elimination from the 'Independence Day Battle Royal' on last week's SmackDown.

Ryder's own tag-team partner was the one to throw him over the top rope and eliminate him from the match, but The Hype Bros did appear together in a pre-taped segment on this week's show. Goofing it up with Breezango, Zack referenced Mojo stabbing him in the back only for Rawley to say the team must get back to work.

It's on Twitter and Instagram that the most interesting exchanges have happened though. Firstly, Ryder tweeted out a picture of the pair with the caption, "Hype Bros on the same page...?". Then, Mojo posted the same picture on Instagram and said, "It was nothing personal. It was a Battle Royal. A match where every man is on his own. But the #HYPEBros are back and we are making this look good. We are ready for @WWE #SDLive".

That's not all, Ryder also tweeted that he will always have Rawley's back. This has all the makings of a slow-burning heel turn for Zack.

Are WWE ready to split The Hype Bros? If so, what does that mean for their respective futures on the SmackDown roster?
