WWE has advised NXT wrestlers to steer clear of communicating with "dirt sheets."

This is according to a new report from Fightful Select (paywall), which claims that performers were "lectured" about their responsibilities prior to NXT's 29 January taping, with one source stating that "they (WWE) reminded me that I'm a contractor, then tried to tell me who I couldn't talk to, so here I am."

On top of this, NXT wrestlers were told they must prove they have their own health insurance, as this isn't covered under their standard contracts. Heel by Nature's writeup on the story highlights the clause outlining this, with a note that the company conduct annual checks "to ensure policies are valid."

This story comes just days after news of a similar backstage meeting in which Matt Riddle's spat with Brock Lesnar was reportedly held up as an example of why NXT wrestlers shouldn't call main roster talent out on social media without prior warning. That news of that meeting got out seemingly provoked the follow-up on 29 January, with WWE upset that it had gotten out.

Will this result in a decline in the number of NXT-related stories leaked to wrestling media? That Fightful's report has a direct quote from a source should answer that one for you.
