Bobby Lashley will defend his WWE Championship against Drew McIntyre at WWE Hell In A Cell 2021 on Sunday 20 June.

This was confirmed on last night's Raw, as McIntyre defeated Kofi Kingston in a number one contender's match. The Scot pinned Kingston in a 22-minute main event, knocking Kingston out of the sky with a midair Claymore as Kofi flew from the top rope, scoring the pinfall immediately after.

Lashley's presence wasn't felt in the bout itself, as he and manager MVP were banned from ringside with the threat of a 90-day suspension looming. This came following last week's non-finish, when the duo ran in on the original McIntyre vs. Kingston contendership bout, sparking a no-contest.

Hell In A Cell will be the fourth time Lashley and McIntyre have shared a WWE ring this year. Their first big match went down at WrestleMania 37, when Bobby defeated Drew in the night one opener, and they rematched on Raw the following week. Lashley then defended his strap in a Triple Threat with McIntyre and Braun Strowman at WrestleMania Backlash on 16 May.

There's currently no word on whether or not Lashley vs. McIntyre will go down inside the titular cell.
