At Survivor Series, the show ended with Sheamus cashing in his 'Money In The Bank' privileges and cruelly snatching the WWE World Heavyweight Title away from Roman Reigns. This is something Triple H - and thus, The Authority - endorsed. Reigns would have his retribution at TLC, and the situation was booked brilliantly. It also opens up a potential match for the future. Enraged that the League Of Nations interfered in his TLC bout against Sheamus and cost him the title, Reigns snapped post-match. Hitting everyone in sight with a steel chair, he then turned his attention to 'The Game'. It would have received a reaction had Roman merely hit Triple H once or twice. That wasn't the plan, he nailed his rival with a barrage of blows, before putting him through the announce desk. From there, he returned for more. Fans were delighted when Reigns did everything they asked, from ensuring Triple H went through the table, to sprinting in for a spear around ringside. Stephanie McMahon played both shock and anger really well, and the attack felt meaningful. Incredibly, the often-derided Reigns was given a, 'Thank You Roman' chant as the show went off the air.
