Even though the match was relegated to the 'Kickoff' pre-show portion of TLC, Sasha Banks vs. Becky Lynch was still worthwhile. Even a baffling decision to run adverts for the WWE Network mid-match couldn't take away from the fact that both women worked very hard. That was rewarded, as the crowd responded well to the closing stages of their bout. Becky Lynch had a battle on her hands to be the babyface during this one. The Boston crowd welcomed hometown girl Sasha back with a warm reception. The announcers acknowledged that Banks was back home, and she was cheered more loudly than her Irish opponent. A singing segment before the match threatened to suck the life out of the building, but the Divas managed to regain it. It was cool to see 'The Boss' handed a win in her home area. It surely must have caused quite the buzz for Sasha to even perform inside a WWE ring in Boston, regardless of the match not actually being on the pay-per-view properly. There's a good chance Banks will kick on from here and challenge for the WWE Divas Title. She's definitely one of the more popular females on the main roster.
