WWE TLC 2018: 10 Things That Must Happen

Time for a little women's main event preview?

Seth Rollins Baron Corbin

Well, this is like a 2000-era WCW pay-per-view in disguise.

TLC 2018 currently has 12 matches on the card, and five of them are gimmick bouts carrying some sort of stipulation. As if that's not busy enough, there's the confusing authority figure angle hanging over Raw and the rather bizarre union between The Miz and Shane McMahon purring in the background over on SmackDown.

It seems the Royal Rumble-WrestleMania sprint can't come soon enough for those in charge of writing this stuff. Between Raw being a boring mess over the past few months (aside from a few glints of hope from Drew McIntyre and Seth Rollins) and the forgettable Survivor Series booking, there's not a lot to like in WWE right now.

We live in a world where top faces are penned, by the people responsible, to lambast the company they work for in some sort of self-hating ritual. It's weird, and it's hardly getting anyone excited for this Sunday's pay-per-view.

Here's what simply must happen if TLC wants to avoid becoming a convoluted WCW washout that serves next-to-no purpose before the Rumble rides to WWE's rescue...
