WWE TLC 2019: 10 Things That Must Happen
8. New Day Retains The SmackDown Gold
WWE decided to ignore the fact that this match only happened on pay-per-view a few months ago at Clash Of Champions. That's typical of the promotion these days. If they're stuck for a match to pad out the next pay-per-view and fancy a rematch, they'll rarely acknowledge what came before. Shame, 'cause the Clash bout was damn good.
This will be too.
It's almost impossible to put four workers as skilled as this in the ring without some results. They work well together, and they're all individually talented enough to make gold nuggets out of butt nugget booking. On Sunday, New Day vs. The Revival will scratch that classic tag-team wrasslin' itch, and it'll end with the babyfaces on top.
Kofi Kingston and Big E just won the belts in the UK this past November, so there's surely no way they're dropping them to Dash and Dawson here. Nope, a New Day win is a must. Then, hopefully, The Usos come back and their beef with the division restarts.
