Theoretically, Aleister Black secreting himself in a darkened cupboard for most of the last six months shouldn't help his chances in a wrestling ring. But any potential muscular atrophy from his confinement won't make a scrap of difference against Buddy Murphy, a man who mostly exists on the main roster to share super matches with top liners before losing.
With just seven bouts on the show, what would ordinarily be Kickoff fodder should at the very least be elevated and elongated to the main event. Precisely what it'll mean long-term isn't clear - it's more than likely the Dutchman will retreat into the, um, Black-ness following victory - but it should be decent nevertheless.
Prediction: Black beats Buddy, and creeps back into the closet.
