Fastlane will return to WWE's pay-per-view calendar this year, reports Mike Johnson of PWInsider.

This will be the first time that the promotion has used the PPV brand since 2019. 2020 saw WWE replaced it with Super ShowDown in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, though such events are currently off the table due to the ongoing global health crisis.

The report states that Fastlane 2021 will go down inside the ThunderDome in St. Petersburg, Florida, on 21 March, though WWE is yet to officially confirm this. Elimination Chamber 2021 will be held exactly one month prior to this on 21 February as WWE accelerates down the Road to WrestleMania 37.

WWE announced the dates and locations for WrestleMania 37, 38, and 39 this weekend.

A regular WWE pay-per-view brand since 2015, Fastlane became a Raw exclusive as a consequence of the brand split in 2017, before flipping over to SmackDown the following year. The last incarnation (2019) was headlined by a ripping, underrated six-man tag pitting The Shield against Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, and Drew McIntyre, serving as one of Dean Ambrose's many televised farewells from the promotion on his way out the door.
