WWE To Rename "Submission Sorority" After Porn Link

This week on Raw, WWE gave the trio of Paige, Charlotte and Becky Lynch the stable name of the "Submission Sorority." The idea behind it is that all three women have submission moves that they use as finishers, so the name fits the group. However, the name may change very quickly because if you do a search for "submission sorority", the results lead to pornographic material. A story on TMZ notes that the porn website BangBros saw their traffic shoot up by 56% overnight after Raw and they even saw a 35% increase in their subscriptions. BangBros apparently has some series called "HazeHer" that comes up when people search for the term. They also plan to send WWE and Vince McMahon a thank you gift basket for raising awareness about their site.

In this week's Wrestling Observer Newsletter, it mentioned that WWE was likely going to change the name from the Submission Sorority to perhaps the Submission Sisters. Apparently the Four Horsewomen (if they add somebody to the group) or just The Horsewomen is an option, playing on Charlotte's dad Ric Flair's role with the Four Horsemen, but they might be hesitant to do that since Ronda Rousey and her three good friends use the Four Horsewomen name. It's very likely that WWE will avoid ever using the Submission Sorority name again. The lesson here is WWE should research things on the internet before they go with a name.
