WWE Tough Enough Finale - Who Are The Winners?
Four competitors battled it out and two of them left with WWE contracts plus $250,000.
The 2015 season of WWE Tough Enough is over and the winners are Josh Bredl of Thornton, Colorado and Sara Lee of Hope, Michigan. Triple H was on hand to present Sara and Josh with checks of $250,000 as well as one year developmental contracts with WWE. Josh beat out ZZ in the voting with 70% of the vote while ZZ had 30% of the vote. Throughout the competition, ZZ was the most popular competitor and was able to avoid elimination due to his strong connection with the audience. However, Josh gained steam throughout the season and was clearly the superior performer out of the final two guys. In the vote to determine the female winner, Sara won with 64% compared to 36% for Amanda. It was pretty obvious that a lot of WWE people liked Amanda more because she's a blonde fitness model with a great body and was solid in the ring, but it was up to the fans. Since Amanda acted like a heel on the show, she wasn't well liked and the audience preferred the "girl next door" type in Sara. During the show, the two male competitors had short matches with WWE superstar Cesaro and they both did a pretty good job, but Josh clearly did better. As for the women, they had matches with Alicia Fox. Amanda looked better during the match although Sara has been the most popular girl since the beginning. WWE is likely very happy that Josh won because he was considered the favourite since he's 6'7" and got in shape at about 270 pounds. Sara wasn't considered the best woman on the show while also being heavily criticized by the likes of Paige and Booker T, but her connection with the audience is legit. If Sara puts in the work, she can prove her doubters wrong. It won't be easy for the Tough Enough winners going forward. They won a lot of money after just ten weeks of being on a reality show and will be making significantly more money than other talents in NXT right now. That could create some tension, so they need to keep working hard to earn the respect of their peers. There's no word on if there will be another Tough Enough after this. Ratings for the show weren't great and the format was poor, but it could be back down the road. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6QAGUmuTg_4
