WWE Unveils Spectacular WrestleMania 34 Set

WWE has treated fans to an early glimpse of the set it will use this weekend at WrestleMania 34.

A promotional video featuring wrestlers Charlotte Flair, Carmella, Naomi, Alexa Bliss, Sasha Banks and Asuka was posted to the company's official Twitter account today. Taken inside the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, it offers the first look at the finished product after a week of construction.

While many fans would have perhaps been hoping for something more elaborate following last year's roller-coaster set, WWE has taken a somewhat minimalist approach this time (by their standards, anyway). Like WrestleMania 30 - hosted from the same stadium in 2014 - the entrance ramp this year is overlooked by a giant curved sign bearing the name of the show.

Lit up, however, the stage looks well capable of rivalling some of the more spectacular efforts of years past, marking the a continuation of the well-established trend for Vince McMahon and co to push the boat out for their biggest night of the year. Incidentally, they don't appear to be sparing any expense on the pyro either (so much for cutting costs).
