Logan Paul has received a lot of praise for saving Rey Mysterio's skin when the legend attempted a springboard moonsault move during their United States Title match at WWE's Crown Jewel special over in Saudi Arabia, but...

...LP set the record straight on his 'IMPAULSIVE' podcast. According to Logan, he did technically save Rey from landing head first/awkwardly on his neck in Saudi. However, the new US Champ blames himself for that save even being in the conversation.

Confused? Here's an explanation.

Paul told viewers/listeners that he thinks he "was too far back for the move". He's happy to hold his hands up and admit "we both made a mistake", but is relieved Rey is alright. Logan recalls being in a strange position when he caught Mysterio, and even worried that his knees might've "snapped".

There was zero chance he'd drop Rey though; "I had to catch him. I wasn’t going to not catch him".

This interesting piece of insight puts a fresh spin on what happened at Crown Jewel. Paul is delighted with the positive press, but fancied letting everyone in on the real story.

He "almost killed" a legend.
