The Wrestling Observer is reporting that WWE higher-ups view Angel Garza and Humberto Carrillo as a possible top babyface tag-team on Raw or SmackDown in the future.

The now-former Los Lotharios were relegated to NXT in June after being announced as Raw picks in WWE's 2023 Draft. Since then, they've appeared to split then get back on the same page by saying honouring family legacy is more important than petty squabbles.

It seems this is part of a babyface reinvention that Dave Meltzer believes will peak on the main roster eventually. WWE has long-term plans for the pair, which is certainly great news for them personally. It's also good news for any fans who wondered why they'd been overlooked for years.

Better days are ahead then.

Garza and Carrillo will be pushed as "authentic Mexican babyfaces" going forwards. Some on social media wonder if WWE can be trusted to keep faith in their push over the piece, but Meltzer's words are very encouraging.

Los Lotharios were often shunted to the side when tag-team success was being doled out on SmackDown, so they deserve another crack at it.
