WWE Waiting Until "Time Is Right" With Wyatt Sicks TV Return (WWE News)

Injuries altered Triple H's plans for The Wyatt Sicks, but now WWE plays the waiting game.

Fightful Select is reporting that AWOL faction The Wyatt Sicks "appear to be on the road back" soon, but there's no definitive timeline for Uncle Howdy and gang to launch their return on WWE television as things stand.

However, a mysterious injury to leader Bo Dallas (Howdy) forced WWE to tweak any plans they did have for the stable following their leap from Raw to SmackDown in the Draft-add on 'Transfer Window' on 13 January 2025. The group hasn't been seen since making that jump, but now it's clear why - Howdy suffered an undisclosed injury and was sidelined.

Clearly, Triple H and other members of WWE's creative team didn't think there was much point in re-introducing the faction on SmackDown without its leader. After all, Uncle Howdy's tribute to fallen brother Bray Wyatt is pretty much the entire gimmick at this stage. There presumably wouldn't be much value in singles or tag bouts with the rest of the misfits without him.

Fightful did also report that, whilst Howdy has been medically cleared, there aren't any "creative discussions" on his return to telly at time of writing. Fans should expect that to change soon though, because the website has heard that "there are tentative plans to use them". WWE will only do that when "the time is right" to do so.

Exactly when that is? Currently unknown.

Opinion: Alexa Bliss Involvement Remains In Doubt

It seems WWE had designs on booking something between The Wyatts and Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania 41, but now that's right up in the air. Creatively, the promotion is rapidly running out of time if they still fancy plonking something on either night in Las Vegas this April. They don't really have a lot of room to work with here, so they'd need to act fast.

News spread that Alexa had been pulled from a scheduled meet n' greet appearance over 'Mania weekend recently, but that's no indicator she'll be missing from the supercards themselves. Her return at Royal Rumble turned a lot of heads, after all. People were real happy to see Bliss back in the ring following her pregnancy and various health concerns over the past couple of years.

Since then, Alexa has only worked another two matches (one on SmackDown vs. Candice Le Rae, and another as part of a titular cage bout at Elimination Chamber: Toronto). She's been largely absent from programming overall, presumably 'cause WWE wanted to trigger something with The Wyatt Sicks but haven't been able to for a variety of reasons.

Everyone will just need to wait and see if Uncle Howdy can return to TV shortly then kick something into gear vs. Bliss for the single most important weekend of the entire year. Fingers crossed nobody has to sit at home and miss out on a planned payoff.
