Sheamus reverted to his original, pre-mohawk look when he returned recently on SmackDown, but that wasn't the first plan WWE had for his comeback.

The creative team and wardrobe department sent the Irishman several sketches that included a small moustache, sweep-over hairdo and braces. Basically, as Sheamus told TalkSport, WWE wanted him to become a superior version of 205 Live and NXT man 'Gentleman' Jack Gallagher.

Sheamus pointed out that the proposed look was identical to someone WWE already had under contract, and said he wasn't willing to step on someone's toes. Furthermore, Sheamus knew that his peers would laugh at him if he went along with the changes and thought he'd look silly with a little pencil moustache.
