WWE WrestleMania 30: 10 Most Shocking Things We Witnessed

9. No Cameos, And No CM Punk

With something as auspicious as the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal, it was basically nailed on that the WWE would roll out some cameos for the card. That feeling was made doubly pertinent by the presence of Hulk Hogan as the 'host' and the appearances of Stone Cold and the Rock, as well as the strength of this year's inductees to the Hall Of Fame - and how well they all appeared at the event, especially Razor Ramon. Sadly however, the WWE didn't use the legends in the way many thought they would: they were restricted to short comedy segments featuring the likes of Sgt. Slaughter, Hacksaw Jim Duggan, Rowdy Roddy Piper, 'The Dragon' Ricky Steamboat and 'The Million Dollar Man' Ted DiBiase. There was nothing really substantial, and the pops for Rocky and Stone Cold proved to be an indication of exactly how well legends appearances might have gone over. And of course, there wasn't even a whisper of CM Punk. Many had thought he would make his grand re-appearance at the main event, but there wasn't so much as a tease.
