WWE WrestleMania 30: 13 Big Questions That Need To Be Answered

2. To What End Does One Actually Want To Win The Inaugural Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal?

http://youtu.be/qA8t0eaENhg Probably the only real event worth noting in terms of Hulk Hogan's grand return to the WWE was his announcement of the Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal that will take place at Wrestlemania XXX. Involving nearly all the WWE midcard Superstars, this event feels unimportant and solely of use as a way to get semi-known faces onto the pay per view screens as a result of poor pre-planning by WWE. But why is it so important to win this event? Is there some great, unknown endgame? Is there some huge payday that comes to the winner in the end? At this point, just days out, no one knows. Nothing has been said other than we are having a battle royal, kids. At least that one we had in January was of some significance. The WWE, in order to make this an annual Wrestlemania event, must have a nice payoff to the winner. Simply being the defending champion will not be enough to keep fans interested - we need a certain winner, and that win must come with some substance in the end.
