WWE WrestleMania 31: 10 Returns That Could Happen

Will Goldberg return to help Sting take down the Authority?

Strap yourselves in everybody - WrestleMania is only a week away, and it's shaping up to be...a fairly disappointing show. Of course nobody can determine how good or bad a show is going to be by simply looking at the card, but it can offer a general sense of how enthralling the PPV is likely to be. Sadly, in the case of WrestleMania 31, it seems like it's going to be okay. Just okay, which really isn't good news for the biggest wrestling show of the year. However, if there's one thing that can give a flat card a much-needed sprinkle of star quality and authenticity, its the return of a legend or two. Nothing delights the fans in quite the same way as a shock appearance, especially one with relevance to the current product. Here are ten of the best potential returns which could help give 'Mania a much-needed boost. Of course, were all of them to come true the card would resemble a horrible mish-mash of run-ins, interviews and promos. However, if one or two were to show their faces in moderation, the benefits to WrestleMania could be great (and necessary). DISCLAIMER: CM Punk does not feature in this article. As electrifying as his return would be, the recent revelations about his acrimonious departure from the WWE (and his repeated vows never to return) surely rule out the chance of the Straight-Edge Superstar making a monumental 'Mania appearance. For this year, anyway...
