10. Opening With The IC Title Triple Threat

Also, that opening Intercontinental Title Triple Threat was a treat for the eyes.

WWE didn't scrimp on time when it came to The Miz, Seth Rollins and Finn Bálor, and the approx. 15-minute limit thrust on them helped the match more than hindered it. Triple Threats in WWE can often be formulaic, but this was the perfect way to kick off the main card in New Orleans.

All three men are over, the match told some nice stories (Miz's potential as a babyface, the ongoing battle for supremacy between Rollins/Bálor) and had a crowd-pleasing finish. Now Seth is a Grand Slam Champion, he can hopefully close his own babyface chapter and return to playing heel.

The IC Title deserved some shine, and the spotlight this match grabbed would have been lost had it been hidden away in the busy mid card. Opening the show was the best spot available to these guys. More of this, please.
