And like that, the annual Showcase of the Immortals has come and gone for another year. WrestleMania 37 may have had to contend with a pesky weather delay and the continued challenges of the pandemic, but largely delivered a rock solid weekend of wrestling.

Few are likely to come away from this year's 'Mania calling it an all-timer classic, especially with some of the rougher undercard bouts, but the show delivered where it mattered most, and set some interesting angles in motion moving forward.

Perhaps more than anything, this year's show bolstered how successful the two-night format is, and though night one was ultimately markedly better, spreading the show out proves far less exhausting than a single seven-hour broadcast.

Numerous superstars got their long-deserved WrestleMania moments, the booking threw a few tantalising curveballs at fans, and both nights kept up a snappy pace.

Again, this wasn't a WrestleMania show many will be holding up as one of the best or most memorable, but it succeeded where it needed to even if the quality of the wrestling on offer was wildly inconsistent...

14. Tag Team Turmoil Match

Result: Natalya and Tamina score the win after Tamina puts Ruby Riott away with the Superfly Splash (14:15).

Rating: Despite the on-paper potential for a fun gauntlet match this mostly fell flat and the crowd was clearly totally uninterested in it.

It felt sluggish from the jump, most of the in-ring combinations lacked chemistry, and to top it all off, the least-appealing team in the match ended up winning.

Apart from The Riott Squad's Joker/Harley Quinn costumes, what was there to like here?

Though the eliminations came relatively thick and fast, this thing still felt too long at almost 15 minutes and just sucked the energy out of the arena. Soulless. 3/10
