WWE WrestleMania 40: 20 Nightmares That Could Come True

Becky Lynch has a book to promote and would defo enjoy holding the Women's World Title when out on the beat selling it. 'The Man' has won oodles of gold over the years, but Rhea Ripley's belt would be a fresh addition to her trophy cabinet (unless you're content to continue lineage on from the old SmackDown Women's Title).

It'd be a downer for Ripley fans though.

Rhea is clearly the present and future of WWE's female ranks. She, Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton and a few others represent the new wave of women supplanting Becky, Charlotte Flair and pals long-term. Further, Ripley hasn't actually achieved everything she presumably hoped to with the title since winning it - she's been more of a non-wrestling character on TV over the past year.

It'd be a little sh*tty if WWE pulled the rug out from underneath 'Mami' when she's visibly coming into her own as a tour de force on programming. Becky is great, but she honestly doesn't need this title win to cement her legacy. That's already set in stone, so her winning would only scuff Rhea's lustre.
