WWE's Big E Provides Health Update
Big E took to X to give fans an update on his current health status.
Taking to X over the weekend, Big E has provided fans with a health update.
As the New Day man explained, his two-year neck scans have been completed and are unchanged. While that means that he's not medically cleared for a return to the ring, E is thankfully free of any pain and is "otherwise healthy".
Hey, all!
Two year neck scans are in. Things are unchanged. My C1 has healed fibrously but has not formed new bone. I’m not medically cleared and truthfully, I may never be cleared. But I am blessed to be free of pain, immensely happy and otherwise healthy. Life is good.— Ettore “Big E” Ewen (@WWEBigE) April 13, 2024
Of course, Big E has been out of action since a March 2022 episode of SmackDown where he suffered fractures to his C1 and C6 vertebrae in a tag match pitting him and Kofi Kingston against Sheamus and Ridge Holland.
In the time since this injury, WWE has utilised the former WWE Champion in a variety of roles, including being a part of the pre-show panels for WrestleMania XL last weekend, and Big E, Kofi, and Xavier Woods also inducted Thunderbolt Patterson into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the 'Mania celebrations.
