WWE's Booker T: 'AEW Fans Don't Care About Wrestlers Getting Hurt'

Booker T says AEW fans "don't give a damn" about the wrestlers they watch on TV.

Booker T has criticised "AEW fans" for viewing pro wrestlers like "toys" or characters in a "video game".

The WWE man, who recently returned to NXT as a commentator, told listeners on his 'Hall Of Fame' podcast that the company's hardcore fans "don't care about those guys in the ring"; Book was discussing Hangman Page's recent concussion woes, but turned heat onto viewers/fans on social media.

Ex-WCW and WWE World Champion Booker went on to say that these people only care about "This Is Awesome" chants, not about the men and women who put their bodies on the line every time they step foot inside a pro wrestling ring, and that doesn't sit well with him at all.

Continuing his rant, Book said: "They don’t give a damn about these guys going out there getting hurt. They really don’t!".

It'll catch headlines (like it did here) that the legend specifically named AEW's fanbase. He didn't mention WWE in the same breath, or other companies like IMPACT and ROH. All Elite Wrestling took the full brunt of Booker's anger/disappointment here.

Do not be shocked to see Book trending on Twitter soon.
