Curt Hawkins' match against Jason Jordan this week on Raw marked his 100th successive WWE defeat (via Cage Match).

Including house show results, the 32-year-old has been beaten in every single match in which he has competed since September of last year, a run that began with a loss to Apollo Crews.

He last tasted victory in August 2016 - also against Apollo Crews - on the UK edition of SmackDown Live.

Hawkins, whose real name is Bryan Myers, returned to WWE almost exactly one year ago, immediately reprising his role as an under-carder after being assigned to SmackDown following the return of the brand extension.

This followed a two-year absence from the company in which he performed on the independent circuit for promotions including Pro Wrestling Guerrilla and Global Force Wrestling (as well as, briefly, TNA).

During his original WWE run, Hawkins' only title success came as part of a tag team with former running mate Zack Ryder, during their run as "Edge-heads".

After Edge's La Familia stable split up, Ryder went on to singles success as Intercontinental and United States Champion, whilst Hawkins was relegated to the status of enhancement talent.
